I now finished the third book to Eragon, Brisingr by Christopher Paolini. Brisingr starts out with Eragon and Roran at the base of Helgrind.They plan to fly on Saphira to the top of Helgrind and defeat the Ra'zac and there steads the Lethrblaka. At camp Roran shows Eragon what the Ra'zac did to his shoulder and Eragon heals it for him.The next morning they fly to Helgrind when they land Saphira's wing passes through it making Helgrind an illusion. They get inside an they get attacked by the Ra'zac and Lethrblaka. While Eragon and Roran fight off the Razac ( Eragon with a staff since he no longer has Zar'roc and Roran with his hammer) Saphira fights the Lethrblaka and they notice the creatures have wards on them deflecting magic and fire. Saphira kills one Lethrblaka while the other sends the two of them stumbling out of Helgrind. The Ra'zac run deeper into Helgrind. They kill one Ra'zac but the other one flees. Eragon and Roran find Katrina and free her. While rescuing Katrina, Eragon finds a cell with the butcher Sloan. Sloan's eyes have been pecked out by the Ra'zac's sharp beaks.Eragon leaves the Butcher and helps Roran get Katrina out, Eragon then decides it would be better to leave the information about Sloan a secret. Eragon doesn't tell anyone about Sloan not even Saphira who had returned from killing the last Lethrblaka. Eragon decides to stay behind and kill the last Ra'zac and to free Sloan. Reluctant to leave him by himself Saphira flies Roran and Katrina back to the Varden. Eragon rescues Sloan and nearly kills himself lifting him and Sloan down Helgrind with magic. Eragon accidentally learns Sloan's true name. Eragon sends him to Ellesmera. Eragon runs all the way to a town near Surda where he finds Arya. He and Arya travel to Surda evading soldiers.When they get to the Varden Roran asks Eragon to be the priest of his and Katrina's wedding. On the day of the wedding the Varden are attacked by 300 immortal humans ( by immortal, Galbatorix made the men feal no pain and the only way to kill them was to chop of there heads). Eragon and Saphira have to fight Murtagh and Thorn. Accompanied by 12 of Izlanzadi's spellcasters Eragon and Saphira almost defeat Murtagh and Thorn but unfortunately they fly off before they could do so.
After the war The Varden and the villagers of Charvahall attend Roran and Katrina's wedding.
A couple of days after the wedding Nausuada orders Eragon to go to Farthen Dur as a member of Durgrimst Ingetnium to attend the clan chiefs to decide who the next king will be. While there Eragon gets attacked by Az Sweldn rak Anhuin a dwarf clan that threatened Eragon in the book Eldest, and are banished for violating there rule not to attack a guest. And Orik is made the new King. Eragon and Saphira fly to Elesmera to continue there training with Oromis and Glaedr.In Ellesmera they found the steel Brightsteel underneath the roots of the Menoa Tree which is used to make the Rider's swords which answers one of Solembum's riddles when the time is right and you need a weapon look under the roots of the Menoa Tree. Eragon and Saphira help Rhunon the elves smith forge him a sword.The sword was the same color as Saphira's scales. Eragon named the sword Brisingr and everytime he said it his sword burst into flame.While there Eragon learns that Brom the Storyteller of Carvahall was his father and that he and Murtagh are half brothers. When they are needed back at the Varden they ready themselves to leave before they go though Oromis and Gleadr give them a precious gift Glaedr's Eldunari ( a dragon's heart of hearts which after the dragon dies alows the Eldunari's caretaker to draw upon the dragon's strength and they can hear its thoughts) and they say that they are leaving Ellesmera to help Islanzadi and the elves. The company leaves together and then depart at the edge of Du Weldenvarden. Eragon and Saphira reach Feinister where the Varden have attacked. While they fight along side the Varden Eragon, Saphira and Arya encouter a Shade. But while he was fighting the Shade Gleadr's eldunari showed him everything that was happening to him and Oromis and they were fighting Murtagh and Thorn when Galbatorix took Control of Murtagh's body and while he was fighting Murtagh/ Galbatorix Oromis had one of his seizures and Galbatorix took the advantage and killed him. When Eragon returned back to himself he found the Shade dead and that Arya had killed it.
I really like these books for numerous reasons mainily because you feel as though you can feel everything the character felt because Paolini is such a good author and he describes everything so well.I have read these books numorous times and each time I read it I catch something I didn't get before.And every detail is important because it always leads to something bigger.And I really can't wait until the 4th book comes out.

Hi everyone, I just finished reading Eldest the third book of Eragon. The story starts out with
Eragon and Saphira three days after the war they just had with the Urgals.People now call him Shadeslayer, Eragon Shadeslayer. Ajihad, Murtagh and the Twins went underground searching
for the Urgals that ran away. Meanwhile Eragon and Saphira get summoned by Jormundor to
come meet Ajihad, Murtagh and the Twins when they come back. Eragon and Saphira see Ajihad,Murtagh and the Twins come out of the tunnel when they see Urgals come out behind them. Eragon and Saphira fly there but are to late they find Ajihad near death. Healing Ajihad's wounds was beyond both Eragon and Arya's possibility. After Ajihad's last breath Saphira pointed out that both Murtagh's and the the Twins' bodies where no where to be seen. They looked down the tunnel and found pieces of Murtagh's and the Twins' tunics and a trail of blood. Arya ran to look for them but to no prevail she came back emptyhanded. Later that night Eragon scryed Murtagh but only found darkness. The next morning Eragon went to the Council of Elders who to be Ajihad's successor the council chose Nuasuada. That following evening Eragon and Saphira attended Ajihad's funeral.Then after that they attended the ceremony where Nausuada would be chosen as leader of the Varden. Nausuada's first order was for Eragon to accompany Arya to Ellesmerra along with the dwarf Orik, she also announced that she was going to have the Varden travel to Surda because they where low on supplies. Before they departed for Ellesmera Hrothgar adopts Eragon into Durgrimst Ingetium. Then they depart. Meanwhile in Carvahall Roran is back from Therinsford now living in Horst's house. A few weeks later there are Galbatorix's soldiers along with the Ra'zac have camped in Carvahall searching for Roran. Roran hides in the Spine while he waits for the Ra'zac to go away. But unfortunatley they wont leave until they get Roran. While the soldiers and the Ra'zac are in town they manage to burn down houses and the Ra'zac ate Quimby one of the villagers. After that the villagers get Roran and decide to fight the soldiers so they will leave. After a short battle since the villagers out numbered them the soldiers and the Ra'zac. After that Roran asks Katrina to marry him. The Raz'zac come in the middle of the night to try and take Roran but take Katrina instead. While trying to save Katrina one of the Ra'zac bite Roran on the shoulder leaving him with most of themuscle missing. Despite his wound Roran, Horst and some of the other villagers try and rescue Ktrina, but the Ra'zac fly away on a dragon-like creature called a Lethrblaka. A couple days later Roran persuades the villagers to travel to Surda to save the villagers. Eragon
gets to Ellesmera and meets Togira Ikonoka who is also another Dragon Rider. Oromis teaches
Eragon the ways of the Rider teaching him how to care for Saphira about magic, how to read the
ancient language, and about swordplay.Oromis' dragon Gleadr teaches Saphira how to fly on
wind drafts how to breath fire longer and about wild dragons. Roran and the villagers make it to
Teirm and look for a ship to sail to Surda, then they find Joed. Joed tells Roran that Eragon and
Brom passed through there and told Roran that Eragon is a Rider and everything that happened
before and after Ra'zac killed Garrow. Joed decides to help Roran and the villagers and get them
to Surda. Later that night they steal a boat called the Dragon Wing. After stealing the boat they took on the long journey towards Surda.Eragon learn all they can in Ellesmera. While in Ellesmera, they got to participate in the elfs Blood Oath Celebration and a mysterious object changed Eragon, by making him stronger, taking the scar on his back from Durza off, taking each
and every scar he ever had off, and by making him look like and be as strong and as fast an Elf.
A couple days after that they head off towards Surda where the Varden are getting ready to
battle Galbatorix's army on the Burning Plains. Meanwhile, Roran and the villagers are sailing
towards the Jiet River to Surda. Eragon and Saphira get to the Burning Plains and get ready for war. During the battle that rages Eragon and Saphira are sent to attack a boat sailing on the
Jiet River. Eragon and Saphira get there and find Roran and the villagers. Roran decides they should fight with the Varden. Eragon and Saphira go back to the war that rages around them
but they see a red dragon with its Rider. Eragon and Saphira fought the Rider and Dragon.
Then when Eragon pulls off the Rider's helmet he finds the Rider to be .... Murtagh. Murtagh
explains to Eragon how he got taken and how Thorn his dragon hatched for him. Murtagh also
explained how Morzan was both Eragon and Murtagh's father. Then while Eragon and Saphira
where confined by magic Murtagh took Zar'roc and flew off. The Varden won the battle. Then
Eragon meets up with Roran and the villagers and Roran explaines to him what has happened
since Garrow's death and how he needed Eragon's help to rescue Katrina.


Again,Sorry for making it so long as I said before almost every detail counts. You're going to have to read the books to know what I'm talking about. I like these books because you never know whats going to happen next. It's one of those books you never want to put down. The
book has: dragons,magic and swordplay. This is an awsome book and if you don't believe me

Sierra - The Best Chef There Ever Was!

When I grow up I think I'd make the best chef there ever was. I've always enjoyed cooking. One of my favorite things to do is cook for my family and friends. I even have some experience at making things. I'm really good at reading the instructions, I'm good at experimenting with food, and most of all I love eating what I've made.Therefore I will be the best chef ever.

Reading instructions has always come naturally to me. There was that time when I forgot something and then my food didn't taste right. I'm always careful when reading the instructions. Whenever I read the instructions I know I'll make it right. Being able to pay attention to what you're doing is the first step along the way to becoming a great chef.

Experimenting with food is another thing I really enjoy. It's really exciting to experiment because you never know how it's going to turn out. When I'm experimenting I feel like there are butterflies in my stomach. I'm to cooking, what macaroni is to macaroni n' cheese. Being able to cook for people for the rest of my life would be very cool.

The one thing that's better than the other two things I said is taste testing your food. Cooking takes a special talent. I gained a lot of experience at taste testing the food I make. I learned a lot about if you eat something and it doesn't taste right then you know you did something wrong but that's not always the case. For example if you eat cookie dough and it tastes like its nothing but flour, then you know that you made a mistake and you try not to make the same mistake twice. The time I spent cooking is sure to give me an advantage to becoming a great chef!

The three most important ingredients required in order to become a successful chef are being good at reading the instructions, being good at experimenting with food, and to love eating what you've made, and I've got them all! I want to cook for my family and friends more often, and maybe even become as good a cook as my mom and dad! I'm never happier when I'm in the midst of cooking with my mom and dad. It's like my grandma said, " Sierra, you can be the best chef in the world you just have to put your heart in it and practice." When I cook something and someone says something like, "This is really really good, can you make more?" I feel good inside, and that's why I'll be the best chef there ever was!
